ENVIRONMENTAL TECHNICIAN 

Job Summary:
CETCON, Combustion and Environmental Testing Consultants, a leader in the specialized field of air quality testing, combustion consulting, and fired heater operator training, is accepting resumes for our Environmental Technician position.

This position provides an outstanding opportunity to be part of the growing environmental air testing industry with excellent potential for advancement while working for consultants who are recognized throughout the industry. Candidate will be part of a team of environmental professionals that conduct air emission tests on emission sources located at refineries, natural gas transportation facilities, electric utilities, pulp & paper mills as well as many other chemical-related and manufacturing facilities.

Qualifications:
This is an entry-level position. It is essential that the candidate be mechanically-inclined, have a basic chemistry background, and have the ability to work at significantly elevated heights in adverse weather conditions, assist team members with repairing field-related equipment and other physically-demanding tasks, and become proficient with the preparation of the mobile testing laboratory. The candidate should also be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Extensive overnight travel and field work is required.

Company is based out of Tulsa, Oklahoma, with the majority of the work performed in a 500-mile radius of Tulsa. Chemistry, mechanical, instrumentation, or combustion- related experience and /or education is highly desirable but not required.

EMISSIONS TESTING PROJECT COORDINATOR

Job Summary:

CETCON, Combustion and Environmental Testing Consultants, a leader in the specialized field of air quality testing, combustion consulting, and fired heater operator training, is accepting resumes for an experienced Emissions Testing Project Coordinator. This position provides an outstanding opportunity to be part of the growing environmental air testing industry with excellent potential for advancement while working for consultants who are recognized throughout the industry. Candidate will be part of a team of environmental professionals that conduct air emission tests on emission sources located at refineries, natural gas transportation facilities, electric utilities, pulp & paper mills as well as many other chemical-related and manufacturing facilities.

Qualifications:

The candidate must have three to five years of previous emission testing experience using EPA Reference Methods and field-related equipment as described in 40 CFR Part 60 & Part 75.

The candidate must possess the ability to work at significantly elevated heights, prepare and repair field related equipment, including the mobile testing laboratory, perform reference method calibrations and calculations, troubleshoot equipment, supervise test crew, communicate directly with clients and regulatory officials, prepare written test plans and manage projects through completion, including report generation and invoicing. The candidate must exercise independent judgment and discretion, as work will be performed under general supervision from management personnel.
